Vegetable Oil Extraction Line for purchase in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The extraction of plant oils is carried out with particular extraction lines. By means of special solvents oil is extracted from vegetable oil raw materials. The amount of oil left in the material, known as oil cakes, after extraction is usually less than 1%.
We supply extraction lines from 500 tpd up to 2000 tpd.
How does the vegetable oil extraction line machine function?
The line of edible oil extraction is controlled by the main computer supplied with SCADA interface. The extraction line has a rather complex control system that involves alarm system, automatic valves, and electric motors that can be turned on or off remotely.
The machine’s feeding conveyor delivers into the extractor grits or granules of extractable material while the solvent, which is the special vegetable oil extraction material, is fed into the extractor by a pump after it is heated by the heat exchanger. Micelle circulation pumps deliver the substance for washing the extractable material during the circulation in the extractor. The material in the extractor is washed with micelle. With time the concentration of miscelle is reducing and finally the extracted material is washed with solvent.
The extractable material that comes out of the extractor is known as the oil cake. The cake is delivered into the toaster by a conveyor belt. Inside the toaster, the solvent is removed from the cake in tubs heated by indirect steam.
Through hydraulic cyclone highly concentrated micelle is moved to distillation section. The distiller of the 1-st stage heats micelle by means of the toaster solvent steam. The other part of solvent begins transformation into vaporous state and is removed progressively from distillation unit. Then comes the 2-nd part of distillation – the micelle is heated by means of indirect steam.
On the 3-rd stage the process of solvent separation is performed. Then oil is moved to special dryer and by means of deep vacuum moisture is removed. Through recuperation heat exchanger the oil is moved to the cooling section. The drying and distillation of oil is performed in vacuum.
Water, Condensate and Solvent Fumes Movement
The solvent fumes are moved in the following way:
- From extractor to condenser;
- From 1st and 2nd stage distillers to condenser of 1st and 2nd distillation stages;
- From oil drying unit and 3rd stage distiller to condenser of the 3rd stage distiller.
Residual solvent fumes are moved to recuperation system condenser from:
- Tanks of solvents;
- Sludge evaporator;
- Extractor condensers;
- Emergency tank.
The fumes are condensed in the system of recuperation. Then condensate is pumped to water separator and fumes – to absorber for contact with mineral oil. The solvent is absorbed with oil and fan helps to remove the clean air into atmosphere.
With the help of pump mineral oil is moved from the absorber to the desorber through recuperation system heat exchanger. There mineral oil is purified from the solvent and moved through heat exchanger to the absorber. The accumulated in the desorber fumes are moved to distiller condenser of the 3-rd stage. Water (from the condenser) and solvent are separated in the water separator.
Then the substance is moved to sludge evaporator for water heating by its contact with steam. In the end of this process the remaining solvent in completely removed from the water. The heated water in its turn is moved to gas catcher and later to the sewerage.
Special valves of the extraction line support emergency ventilation in case of unforeseen circumstances. The residual fumes of the solvent are monitored with the special system for solvent leakage detection.
